There might be situations or events from the past that are still bothering you.

There might be relationships that left you feeling ashamed and deeply wounded. Or maybe you are still in the fight, flight, or freeze mode from those past situations.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an example of a very effective mode of therapy that gets you out of the grips of the past.
